Role and Responsibilities:

The CVI team is responsible for delivering Pexip's best-in-class video interoperability solution for Microsoft Teams. In the team, we deal with an extraordinarily wide range of challenges across the stack -- from optimizations and quality improvements deep within our media engine, to high-level architecture and scaling within Microsoft Azure.

We don’t believe in micro management and very much live by the flat company structure, so managers are there to enable you, act as funnels for information that will help you make the right decisions and give you the tools to do so in the best possible way.

Testing is a core pillar of our internal structure, and we spend a lot of time making sure that our code lives up to our own internal standards. This means that each engineer is responsible for writing and maintaining tests for the code that they are developing, with help and support from our dedicated test automation team.

Preferred experience

• Strong C#
• Network programming
• Expertise in profiling and optimisation
• Familiarity with common performance patterns and anti-patterns in distributed systems

• Major cloud platforms and technologies (preferably Azure)
• Deep understanding of .NET internals (MSIL, CLR, etc...)
• Deep understanding of Windows internals
